Volunteer Roles
We’ve got quite a number of roles you can fill depending on the current focus of projects we are engaged in.
Project-specific information will be made available to prospective volunteers showing interest in these projects. Generally, we expect our volunteers to complete their projects with a respectful and friendly approach, maintaining a tidy living space and an open-minded approach to local customs and traditions.

Inclusivity policy
In line with our mission, Together for Better is committed to fostering a fair, non-discriminative environment in all areas of its work. Our review process focuses specifically on the basis of their competence and not on grounds of age, gender, religion or disability.

Briefing and Training
Briefing and Training is the first step before we embark on any project. This ensures each volunteer receives adequate information via email or telephone, specific to the project. This is a critical stage and all rules must be taken with absolute caution.

Health and Safety
Together for Better is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment for volunteers, in accordance with our policies and procedures. You as the volunteer will be required to play your part with the Foundation by taking up the duty to be reasonable to yourself and others around you.

Travel
Together for Better Foundation is solely responsible for arranging travel during selected excursions outside the city. This requires prior communication to the volunteer on the dates, meeting point and time of departure. It is the responsibility of the volunteer to carry all necessary documents and essentials such as bottled water and comfortable clothing.

Drug and alcohol use

The volunteer must follow the community rules by Together for Better Foundation, any partner organizations, volunteer placement institutions and host-families in regards to alcohol consumption. Drug use (unless prescribed by a doctor) is strictly not allowed and will result in instant dismissal.

Image and naming rights

Such volunteer work may be susceptible to hazards and involves a certain degree of risk, inherently dangerous activities and personal perils to the volunteer, both foreseen and unforeseen, all of which are fully accepted by and solely assumed by the volunteer. Therefore, Together for Better Foundation including any and all of its employees, managers, directors, shareholders and community hosts are not liable, to the maximum extent of the law, for any loss or harm the volunteer or associates may suffer, including but not limited to loss caused directly or indirectly by:
